Yoshimura SERT has won the opening round of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship, the 47th 24 Heures Motos, after hit back from an early fall to move ahead when defending EWC champion squad Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team crashed on the final morning.
BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team finished second with YART recovering to third after an action-packed day and night contest in France.
National Motos Honda claimed the win in the Superstock-based FIM Endurance World Cup followed home by Chromeburner-RAC41-Honda and 3ART Best of Bike.
Yoshimura SERT Motul rider Gregg Black said: “Amazing to be back on the first step [of the podium here], just amazing. Dan [Linfoot], Étienne [Masson], the whole team have done such great work all winter, we showed our speed and got our revenge from last year. It’s just awesome.”

Le Yoshimura SERT Motul a remporté la manche d’ouverture du Championnat du monde d’Endurance de la FIM, la 47e édition des 24 Heures Motos, lui qui est bien revenu après une chute en début de course et a repris la tête quand la moto du Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team est tombée à son tour dans la matinée de ce dimanche.
Le BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team a pris la deuxième place et le YART, bien remonté, la troisième au terme d’un tour d’horloge riche en action dans la Sarthe.
National Motos Honda a décroché la victoire en Coupe du monde d’Endurance de la FIM basée sur la réglementation Supertsock, devant Chromeburner-RAC41-Honda et 3ART Best of Bike.
