PHA - CLAUDE MICHY ENTRUSTS DG SPORT WITH THE ADDITION OF A TRACKDAY
PHA, organisateur et promoteur des 8 Heures de Spa Motos 2024 – deuxième manche du Championnat du Monde d’Endurance de la FIM – ont invité le spécialiste belge DG Sport à développer une nouvelle et excitante attraction à l’événement
PHA, the organiser and promoter of the 8 Hours of Spa Motos – round two of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship – has called on specialist Belgian firm DG Sport to develop an exciting new element to the event.
DG utilisera sa considérable expérience locale pour organiser une journée de roulage en piste sur le Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, le dimanche 9 juin, quand des pilotes sélectionnés de l’EWC seront à l’œuvre pour donner quelques conseils.
Christian Jupsin, fondateur de DG Sport, déclare : “Nous sommes convaincus que cette course de huit heures est le format idéal pour la manche belge du FIM EWC. En combinant les savoir-faire de PHA et DG Sport, tous les éléments sont réunis pour faire de cette étape du championnat mondial un grand succès.”
Claude Michy de PHA déclare : “PHA comptera sur DG Sport pour sa grande connaissance du territoire. Les 8 Heures de Spa Motos seront suivies le dimanche 9 juin par un trackday spécial moto. En effet, quelques pilotes de premier plan du Championnat du Monde d’Endurance resteront le dimanche pour coacher les participants.”
“Nous avons décidé de confier l’organisation de ce trackday à DG Sport. La date est déjà incluse au calendrier des Bikers’Days et deux tickets pour les 8 Heures de Spa Motos seront offerts à chaque participant.”
Florian Jupsin, responsable Motorcycle Events chez DG Sport, déclare : “À travers nos évènements moto, nous avons le plaisir d’avoir une large base de passionnés de long terme. Les 8 Heures de Spa Motos vont être un rendez-vous spectaculaire, qui sera le parfait complément du Bikers’Festival programmé en août.”
DG Sport est hautement considéré en Belgique en tant qu’organisateur de plusieurs événements de sport mécanique, dont les 6 Heures Motos.

DG will utilise its considerable local expertise to organise a trackday with a difference at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday 9 June when selected EWC racers will be on duty to provide riding tips.
Christian Jupsin, the DG Sport Founder, said: “We are convinced that this eight-hour race is the ideal format for the Belgian round of the FIM EWC. By combining the know-how of PHA and DG Sport, all the ingredients are gathered to make this stage of the world championship a great success.”
PHA’s Claude Michy said: “PHA will rely on DG Sport for their great knowledge of the territory. The 8 Hours of Spa Motos will be followed on Sunday 9 June by a special motorcycle trackday. Indeed, some top riders of the Endurance World Championship will stay on Sunday to coach the participants. »
“We decided to entrust the organisation of this trackday to DG Sport, the date is already included in the Bikers’Days calendar and two tickets for the 8 Hours of Spa Motos will be offered to each participant.”
