TEAMRACING85 HIGHLIGHTS INTEREST IN EWC SUPERSTOCK
Basé à Fontenay-le-Comte, l’écurie Teamracing85 a pris part aux épreuves de l’EWC au Mans et au Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps en 2023.
La structure tricolore prévoit maintenant d’étendre sa participation à l’EWC pour inclure le Bol d’Or, qui marque la fin de la saison sur le circuit Paul Ricard
Pour 2024, Teamracing85 s’est assuré les services de l’expérimenté Italien Christian Napoli, tout en recrutant trois autres nouveaux pilotes, le trio français composé de Johann Flammann, Hugo Girardet et Thibaud Schmidt.
L’équipe fera rouler une nouvelle Kawasaki ZX-10R chaussée de pneus Dunlop, avec des essais prévus pour la saison prochaine en Espagne le mois prochain.
Dunlop est le fournisseur officiel de pneus pour la Coupe du Monde d’Endurance FIM.
Based in Fontenay-le-Comte, France, Teamracing85 participates in the EWC events at Le Mans and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2023.
They are now planning to expand their EWC participation to include the season-defining Bol d’Or at Circuit Paul Ricard in what is hoped will be a three-event FIM Endurance World Cup campaign.
For 2024, Teamracing85 has secured the services of experienced Italian Christian Napoli, while also recruiting three other new drivers, the French trio of Johann Flammann, Hugo Girardet and Thibaud Schmidt.
The team will run a new Kawasaki ZX-10R on Dunlop tires with testing planned for the upcoming season in Spain next month. Dunlop is the official tire supplier for the FIM Endurance World Cup.
Avec Christian Napoli, le Teamracing85 peut compter sur un pilote avec un pedigree en EWC significatif, à la fois en Formula EWC et en Superstock. En effet, le pilote de 36 ans est entré dans la catégorie EWC Formula avec Motobox Kremer Racing en 2023 lorsqu’il est passé de Kawasaki à Yamaha. En annonçant ce quatuor de pilotes, Teamracing85 profitera d’un changement de règlement en 2024 qui permettra aux équipes Superstock d’aligner quatre pilotes dans les deux épreuves de 24 heures de l’EWC, les 24 Heures Motos du Mans et le Bol d’Or du Circuit Paul Ricard.
By recruiting Christian Napoli, Teamracing85 can count on a driver with significant EWC pedigree at both Formula EWC and Superstock level. Indeed, the 36-year-old moved into the EWC Formula category with Motobox Kremer Racing in 2023 when he switched from Kawasaki to Yamaha. But now he is preparing for a return to the Superstock division and Kawasaki power.

In announcing the quartet of Riders, Teamracing85 will take advantage of a 2024 regulation change that will allow Superstock teams to field four riders into the EWC’s two 24-hour events, the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans and the Bol d’Or at Circuit Paul Ricard.
