WHY ISHIZUKA’S EWC WAIT IS OVER
Takeshi Ishizuka est enfin un pilote de la catégorie Formula EWC dans le Championnat du Monde d’Endurance FIM.
Après avoir participé avec succès à la division Superstock avec JMA Racing Action Bike, Ishizuka a rejoint le Maco Racing Team basé en Slovaquie pour la prochaine saison en EWC.
Passant d’une Suzuki à une Yamaha, Ishizuka, 28 ans, a déclaré : « Je suis heureux d’annoncer que je courrai dans le Championnat du monde d’endurance FIM avec Maco Racing Team pour la saison 2024. Merci à l’équipe de m’avoir donné cette grande opportunité et à tous mes sponsors d’avoir rendu cela possible. Je ferai de mon mieux pour monter sur le podium. Enfin, la montée en puissance dans la classe EWC en 2024, c’est parti. »
Le Maco Racing Team s’est classé huitième du Championnat du monde FIM d’endurance par équipes 2023, atteignant ainsi son objectif d’une place dans le top 10 avant sa 21e saison en EWC.

Having competed successfully in the Superstock division with JMA Racing Action Bike, Ishizuka has joined Slovakia-based Maco Racing Team for the upcoming EWC season.
Switching from Suzuki to Yamaha power and stepping up to the EWC’s top level, 28-year-old Ishizuka said: “I’m happy to announce that I will race in the FIM Endurance World Championship with Maco Racing Team for the 2024 season. Thank you to the team for giving me this great opportunity and to all my sponsors for making it possible. I’ll do my best to get on the podium. Finally, the step up to the EWC class in 2024, let’s go.”
Maco Racing Team placed eighth in the 2023 FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams, thereby achieving its goal of a top 10 finish ahead of its 21st season in the EWC.
