LE WÓJCIK RACING TEAM DÉVOILE UN ÉQUIPAGE N° 77 ENTIÈREMENT POLONAIS POUR L’EWC
THREE POLES WITH AN EWC GOAL AS WÓJCIK RACING TEAM REVEALS NEW #77 LINE-UP
Le Wójcik Racing Team a dévoilé un équipage 100 % polonais pour sa machine n° 77 dans le Championnat du Monde d’Endurance de la FIM 2024.
Wójcik Racing Team has announced an all-Polish rider line-up for its #77 FIM Endurance World Championship entry.
Avant cette première campagne avec une Honda, la structure dirigée par Grzegorz Wójcik et Sławomir Kubzdyl a engagé Kamil Krzemień, Jurand Kuśmierczyk et Artur Wielebski.
Si Krzemień et Wielebski courent pour le Wójcik Racing Team depuis plusieurs années – le dernier cité est même monté sur le podium Superstock des 8 Heures d’Oschersleben en Allemagne –, le tout jeune (19 ans seulement) Kuśmierczyk a rejoint le WRT en temps que réserviste, sur la n° 777 engagée en Superstock, lors du Bol d’Or en septembre dernier.
Le champion Superbike de Pologne 2023 a fait si forte impression sur le Circuit Paul Ricard qu’il a été promu comme titulaire à plein temps en Formule EWC pour 2024.
Ahead of its first EWC campaign with Honda power, the outfit owned by Grzegorz Wójcik and Sławomir Kubzdyl, has signed Kamil Krzemień, Jurand Kuśmierczyk and Artur Wielebski.
While Krzemień and Wielebski have ridden for Wójcik Racing Team for several years – the former even standing on the Superstock podium with the team at the 8 Hours of Oschersleben in Germany – 19-year-old Kuśmierczyk joined WRT as a reserve rider for its #777 Superstock squad during last September’s Bol d’Or.
But the Polish Superstock 600 champion for 2023 made such a big impression at Circuit Paul Ricard that he has been promoted to a full-time Formula EWC ride in 2024.
Grzegorz Wójcik a déclaré :
“La saison 2024 sera un défi complètement nouveau pour nous. Nous changeons non seulement de fournisseur de motos, mais aussi nos deux équipages. Nous avons décidé de revenir à l’idée d’un trio 100 % polonais pour l’une des machines. Nous l’avons déjà fait avec succès dans le passé, donnant une immense opportunité à de nombreux jeunes talents nationaux. Nous le ferons à nouveau pour la saison à venir, mais en fixant la barre encore plus haut, puisque l’équipage n° 77 roulera en Formule EWC, la catégorie la plus relevée. Kamil, Artur et Jurand sont la parfaite combinaison entre jeunesse, talent et expérience, qui peut vraiment secouer le plateau.”
Grzegorz Wójcik said:
“The 2024 season will be a completely new challenge for us. We are not only changing our motorcycle supplier but also the line-up of both crews. We decided to return to the idea of an all-Polish line-up for one of the bikes. We already successfully did it in the past, giving a huge opportunity to many young Polish talents. In the upcoming season we will do it again, but we are raising the bar even higher, as team 77 will race in the most demanding Formula EWC category. Kamil, Artur, and Jurand are the perfect combination of youth, talent, and experience, which can really shake up the field.”
Sławomir Kubzdyl a déclaré :
“Nous sommes très excités par les changements qui attendent l’équipage n° 77, et convaincus que le trio 100 % polonais apportera beaucoup de joie aux fans de notre pays. Kamil, Artur et Jurand sont des pilotes jeunes, mais déjà très expérimentés, qui ont déjà non seulement beaucoup de titres nationaux, mais aussi de succès internationaux à leur palmarès. Kamil est déjà monté sur un podium de FIM EWC avec nous. Il y a quelques années, Kamil a réussi l’impossible, terminant la course de 24 heures du Mans au sein d’un équipage ne comprenant que deux coureurs. Jurand a non seulement montré un rythme incroyable dans les championnats Superstock 600 et Superbike polonais cette saison, mais aussi fait des débuts spectaculaires dans le FIM EWC lors du Bol d’Or. Le trio complet courra dans la catégorie Formule EWC, la plus relevée, contre des équipes d’usine essentiellement, et sur une moto complètement nouvelle. C’est un immense défi, mais nous sommes impatients que ça commence. Cependant, les changements apportés à la team 77 ne signifient en rien que nous renonçons à lutter dans la catégorie Superstock. Nous présenterons dans les prochains jours un line-up international et incroyablement fort pour la team 777.”
Sławomir Kubzdyl said:
“We are very excited about the changes awaiting team 77 and we are convinced that the entirely Polish line-up will bring a lot of joy to the Polish fans. Kamil, Artur, and Jurand are young but already very experienced riders, who not only have many Polish championship titles to their names but also numerous international successes. Kamil has already stood on the FIM EWC podium with us. A few years ago, Artur did the impossible, finishing the 24-hour race in Le Mans in a team consisting of only two riders. Jurand not only showed incredible pace in the Polish Superstock 600 and Superbike championships this season but also spectacularly debuting in FIM EWC during the Bol d’Or. The entire trio will compete in the most demanding Formula EWC class, against mostly the factory teams, and on a completely new bike. It’s a huge challenge, but we can’t wait to get started. However, the changes to team 77 do not mean that we are giving up the fight in the Superstock class. In the coming days we will present an incredibly strong, international line-up for team 777.”
Le Wójcik Racing Team confirmera donc sous peu l’équipage n° 777 en Coupe du Monde d’Endurance de la FIM. La saison 2024 débutera par les 24 Heures Motos, au Mans, du 18 au 21 avril.

“Nous sommes très excités non seulement par le nouveau chapitre que nous ouvrons avec Honda dans le Championnat du Monde d’endurance de la FIM, mais aussi dans le championnat polonais, où nous serons très fortement représentés”, a dit Sławomir Kubzdyl, directeur et copropriétaire du Wójcik Racing Team. “Mateusz et Jurand sont des joueurs de la jeune génération avec des championnats à leur actif, auxquels nous voulons fournir la meilleure plateforme pour se développer davantage. L’expérience d’Artur et de Kamil nous aidera certainement à développer les nouvelles machines Honda et nous transférerons notre vitesse non seulement en Pologne, mais aussi dans le championnat du monde.”
Le fondateur et copropriétaire du Wójcik Racing Team, Grzegorz Wójcik, a déclaré : “D’une part, courir dans le championnat de Pologne a toujours été très important pour nous, et de nombreux titres sont une source de grande fierté pour toute l’équipe.D’autre part, c’est aussi un entraînement idéal pour nos coureurs et des kilomètres supplémentaires entre les manches de l’EWC. Cette année, le championnat de Pologne représente un défi et un test additionnel dans le développement des nouvelles motos construites en collaboration avec Honda Polska. De plus, comme nos coureurs EWC manqueront une manche du championnat polonais en raison d’une concurrence de date, la course au titre ne sera pas aisée pour nous, mais nous ferons de notre mieux.”
Le premier des quatre rendez-vous du championnat de Pologne aura lieu à Tor Poznań, du 24 au 26 mai.

Artur and Kamil’s experience will certainly help us develop new Honda motorcycles and will translate to our pace not only in Poland, but also in the World championship.”
Team founder and co-owner Grzegorz Wójcik said: “On the one hand, competing in the Polish championship has always been very important to us, and numerous championship titles are a reason for great pride for the whole team. On the other hand, it’s also an ideal training for our competitors and extra kilometres between the EWC rounds. This year the Polish championship will be an additional challenge and test due to the development of new motorcycles, built in cooperation with Honda Polska. What’s more, our EWC competitors will leave one of the Polish rounds due to overlapping calendars, so the title fight won’t be easy for us, but we’ll do our best.”
The four-event Polish championship season begins at Tor Poznań from 24-26 May.
